ANGIE KNIGHT'S BIO 
"Being a high powered business woman in my earlier career, I understand the importance 
of learning how to relax, breath and stretch on a regular basis."

Angie began her yoga practice in her early twenties and has been a successful yoga instructor for over 30 years, obtaining her Teacher of Yoga certification at the Sivananda Ashram (Grass Valley CA) in 1989. Angie is a highly skilled and diverse teacher who shares 
her experience in gentle yet expansive classes where alignment, prana, flow and connection to the self through breath and movement are key. 

Angie's studies in yoga began at a Yoga School in Durban South Africa. She continued Instructor Training in Sivananda and Iyengar training and further studies and workshops with many facets of Yoga in California. Angie has taught yoga privately and throughout many centers in California. Her career in yoga took off after a series called ‘The Changing Scene’ on cable TV called ‘Keeping Fit with Angie Knight’. 

In Yoga, the body, breath and mind are seen as an interconnected aspect of each and 
every human being. Angie’s yoga classes cultivates the experience of that union, leading 
to greater integration, deep relaxation, peacefulness and clarity. Her style of teaching 
is designed to cultivate health and happiness, and a greater sense of self-awareness.

My dear sister Pam Badenhorst, has her own garden studio in Durban, South Africa and teaches several yoga classes per week.  A true Yogi and Hatha Yoga Y.Y.I. Yoga teacher,
